DocPresenter vs Colossyan
Colossyan is a platform for building video-first courses. We do a narrower job: you already have the deck, and the script is the part you do not want to write. If you need quizzes and learning paths, they win. If you need forty existing decks explained, that is us.

Questions people actually ask
Frequently asked questions
The things procurement, IT security and L&D teams ask us first.
Not really — cheaper per minute, yes, but they are different products. Colossyan is a video-first training platform: courses, quizzes, interactive video, translation workflows, a large avatar library. Ours does one thing: you already have a deck or document, and you want a narrated video of it without writing a script. If you are building a course with assessments, Colossyan is the better fit. If you need forty existing decks explained, ours is.
A 20-page deck here costs about $1.44 on the yearly plan (10 credits per page, quoted before you commit). Colossyan's Professional plan is published at from $59 per month billed annually for 30 video minutes, which is about $1.97 per minute — roughly $79 for the same length. Their minutes are metered per model: the NEO allocation is the generous one, and the NEO2 allowance is much smaller, so actual cost per minute is higher if you use the advanced model. Course structure. If your training needs to be completed, tracked and assessed — quizzes, interactive branches, a learning path — that is a real platform feature set and we do not have it. Their avatar library is larger, and 120+ languages with automatic translation is ahead of what we offer. The gap we fill is the input: none of that helps when the content already exists as a finished deck and nobody wants to script it.
Both render slides as page images, so charts, tables and multi-column layouts come through. The difference is what happens next: here the narration is generated per page from your slide text and shown to you for review before rendering; in Colossyan you are working in an editor where scenes and script are authored.
Yes — signup includes 60 free credits, enough to turn a 6-page deck you already have into a real video. Upload it, read the generated narration, and decide from the actual output rather than a template.
