Turn a PowerPoint or PDF deck into a narrated video
Upload a PPTX or PDF and get a video where a presenter walks through your slides — script written for you, narration you can edit, and nothing to record. Up to 40 pages per deck, exported as one MP4 with a marker for every slide.
20 free credits on signup — enough for a 2-page preview of one of your real decks.
Why convert slides to video instead of recording
No recording session to schedule
Recording a 40-slide walkthrough means booking a room, getting the take right, and redoing it when slide 12 changes. Here you re-render the page instead.
Edits are cheap
Update a slide, re-render the affected pages, and the narration follows. A recorded voiceover would mean another session.
Consistent across a whole library
One presenter, one voice, one look — across every deck your team publishes. Useful when training material has to match.
How the conversion works
- Step 1
Upload the deck
PPTX or PDF, up to 40 pages. The page count — and the exact credit cost — is shown immediately, before anything runs.
- Step 2
Check the narration
Every page gets a draft script you can edit, rewrite, regenerate or switch to another language. Nothing is charged until you approve it.
- Step 3
Render and download
Pick a presenter and voice, set the pace, and render. You get one MP4 with chapter markers per slide. Close the tab if you like — progress resumes when you come back.
What you get, and what changes
Delivered
- One MP4 per deck, with a start and end timestamp for every slide
- A written narration per page, editable and regenerable
- 10 narration languages, speaking rate from 0.8× to 1.5×
- Built-in presenters and voices, or your own with consent
Not carried over
- Slide animations and transitions — they become cuts
- Legacy .ppt files — save as .pptx or export to PDF
- Decks over 40 pages — split them into parts
Cost is quoted before you commit: 10 credits per page, 2 pages minimum. Failed renders are refunded in full.
Questions about converting decks
What people ask before uploading their first deck.
No. You upload the deck and we write a narration script, read it with an AI presenter, and render the video on our servers. Nothing is recorded from your microphone or screen — which also means you can redo a slide without re-shooting anything.
No — and that is the honest answer for every tool in this category. Each slide is rendered as a still page image, so build and transition effects play out as cuts instead. Charts, tables and diagrams survive intact because we rasterise the page rather than trying to reconstruct it.
PPTX and PDF, up to 40 pages per deck. Legacy .ppt files (the older binary format) are not supported — save them as .pptx or export to PDF first. Video is delivered as a single MP4 with start and end timestamps per page, so viewers can jump straight to a slide.
Yes, and this is the step most tools skip. The narration is written page by page and shown to you before anything is rendered. You can rewrite any page, switch the language (10 options, English by default), regenerate the whole script, and set the speaking rate between 0.8× and 1.5×. Rendering — and the credits it costs — only starts once you approve.
A full deck typically renders in 20–40 minutes; a page is roughly two minutes of finished video. Cost is 10 credits per page, quoted before you start: a 20-page deck is 200 credits, which works out to about $1.44 on the yearly plan or $2.99 with a one-off credit pack. If a render fails, the credit hold is released in full.
Both are optional. You can register a presenter from a short clip of a real person (with their consent) and clone a voice you own from 3–30 seconds of speech — both go through a review step before they can be used. The built-in presenters and voices need neither.
